Re: “President Biden pardons his son Hunter Biden” – CNN. Many reporters covering this story are so busy trying to draw parallels between what they see as Biden’s cynicism and Trump’s that they cannot see the basic humanity in Biden’s action. Knowing that Trump would be out for vengeance through Hunter, Biden closed that door. What father wouldn’t? Trump needs no excuse to pardon the seditionists or commit even greater outrages. He has proved that in spades. The press has not yet figured out how to “report” Trump as the sui generis monster that he is. Its default position is false equivalency, reducing Biden to the same gutter denominator.”
